for 25 years of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan

During the years of Kazakhstan's Independence our college has acquired even greater importance in the conditions of social and economic development.

Today PSE on the REM "Pavlodar Higher Medical College" is one of the leading educational institutions among technical and vocational educational representatives of the Republic of Kazakhstan with an effective management system that implements innovative information and communication technologies. College provides high-quality educational services to train qualified and competitive medical practisers in accordance with existing, prospective State requirements and implementation of an effective model of social partnership among college, society and health system aimed at strengthening the health of the nation. Currently college conducts educational activities in 7 specialties with the in-person training: "Medical Care", "Hygiene and Epidemiology", "Dentistry", "Orthopedic Dentistry", "Pharmacy", "Nursing Care" and "Laboratory Diagnostics".

6270 paramedical workers have been graduated since 1991. 86 people got the qualifications of "Assistant Nurse", "Nurse Practitioner" and "Medical Assistant" upon "Employment – 2020" program.

33,266 medical workers received post-graduate training from 1991 to 2016. 142 unemployed people were retrained for the "Nursing Care" and given a qualification of the "Nurse Practitioner" upon "Employment Roadmap – 2020" program.

	Joint work on re-training of the unemployed between College's Advanced Studies Department and Department of Employment and Social Programs of Akimat of Pavlodar has been started

	College concluded a Memorandum with the University of Applied Sciences in Finland on cooperation in the field of health, medical education and science

*2013*	Advanced Studies Department was reorganized into the Continuing Education Center of Paramedical and Pharmaceutical Workers
*2014*	College was renamed as Public State Enterprise on the Right of Economic Management "Pavlodar Medical College"
	In the context of the World Bank Project named "Technology Transfer and Institutional Reform in the Healthcare Sector of the Republic of Kazakhstan", an educational program of Applied Bachelor's Degree in Nursing Care was introduced in college as an experiment
	Regional Simulation Center has been launched
	A major overhaul of the college has been made
*2015*	An international quality management system has been implemented to meet the requirements of the standard of ISO 9001:2008 (certificate of quality TUV Rheinland Cert GmbH No. 011001518810 from 03.07.2015 to 02.07.2018)
