Traditional Sports Festival called "Sergektіq" was held at the gym of the Pavlodar Higher Medical College on the eve of the celebration of the 26th anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan. This event was also coincided with the implementation of the 87 steps of the five institutional reforms by the Head of the State named "Qazaqstan – Uly dala elі". 3 representative teams of the Pavlodar Higher Medical College took part in the festival.
The main goal of the event is to popularize Kazakh national games, promote healthy lifestyle, nurture responsibility, team spirit, comradely assistance and patriotism among students.
The following competitions were held according to the plan of the event: combined relay races, Kazakh national games, such as "Ku'resken s'ynjyr" ("Fighting Chain"), "Tutqyng'a aly'" ("Who will overtake") "Arqan tartys" ("Tug of war"), "Best shooter" contest. There were musical performances between the stages of the competition.
By the results of the festival, the prizes were taken as follows:

  • 1st prize was taken by "Dynamite" team (Physical Education teacher Abelshaikova A. K.)
  • 2nd  prize went ot the "Banda" team (Physical Education teacher Gizzatullina A. S.)
  • 3rd prize was obtained by the "Scarlet Sails" team (Physical Education teacher Baikenov R. H.).

All participants were awarded with diplomas and valuable gifts.
