Physician Kolisnichenko I.V. and paramedic Smanov E.B. from the disaster medicine centre of Pavlodar region of the Committee for Emergency Situations of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan gave a lecture and provided a training for students on first aid and the handling of the emergencies. The following procedures have been rehearsed during the training: applying a tourniquet, bleeding control, resuscitation for cardiac arrest.
