Students are motivated to study a new topic through setting of a problematic issues. During the lesson students developed the ability to analyze and compare different types of attitudes to the disease according to the classification by Lichko A. An instruction was given to work with the Personal Questionnaire of the Bekhterev Institute in order to diagnose the type of attitude to the disease. There were made interdisciplinary connections with the Fundamentals of Pathology, the Fundamentals of Nursing Care and the Propaedeutics of internal diseases. In order to receive feedback, students were given survey forms aimed at evaluation of the novelty and usefulness of the learned information.
