College graduates are pushing towards the finish line and proceeding with the State exams. Graded exam in all specialties is taken in two stages: academic and practical. Academic stage requires to show what did students learn over the years. Practical stage, for its part, demands to show how well are they able to put the knowledge into practice.

On June 1 our students took part in a children's concert band and musical ensemble parade. This event was dedicated to the International Day of the Child and took place at the lower level of Pavlodar city beach promenade. March and performances were memorable, vivid and entertaining.
Эстафета
A relay race was held on June 1, the International Day of the Child. The goal was to carry out the specific civil defense training objectives.
The following challenges were included into the relay race: applying a bulky dressing, putting on a breathing mask, putting on and taking off a gas mask, first aid treatment (for example, applying a rubber arresting bleeding tourniquet on a shoulder and first-aid bandage on a forearm, putting a gas mask on the "injured" and carrying the "injured").
This event is focused on safety performance during the emergencies and first-aid
Конвенция о правах ребенка
There was a conference dedicated to the Convention on the Rights of the Child. This event was also a part of the International Day of the Child festivities. Class supervisors familiarized the students with the basics of the Convention, clarified the responsibilities for their own rights and duties and created positive attitude to the rights of others.
«Берегите детей»
1st year students along with 2nd year students participated in the wall newspaper contest called "Save the children". This event took place during the International Day of the Child. Students' works showed zero tolerance to violence, war and threat to chilren's lives. We must take care of the children, because they are our future! Let it be nothing but joy for the kids.

The field day dedicated to the International Day of the Child took place on June 1, 2017 at the gym of Pavlodar Higher Medical College. 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th year students took part in it. Programme included relay races as well as various dexterity, quickness, endurance and strength competitions. At the end of the day, all students were in a great mood.

"I want to live in a safe world" poster competition was held on June 1 to coincide with the International Day of the Child. Editorial teams from 120, 340, 210, 320, 230 and 24 classes in Nursing Care were actively involved. Students' works reflected possible emergencies and ways to avoid them.

On May 31, the day of remembrance of victims of political reprisals, college staff took part in a mass meeting and a flower-laying ceremony at the memorial positioned in a small park on Lenin Street and old Muslim cemetery. Akim of the region Bakauov B.Z., akim of the city Ashimbetov N.K. and other public figures spoke at the meeting.

A recitation contest of Abay works among non-native speakers held on May 11, 2017. It was hosted by the Culture and Language Development Office of Pavlodar City.Valezhanskaja Darja, a second-year student of Pharmacy from 210 class, took part in the contest and was awarded by a letter of appreciation.

Slavic Cultural Centre's A. Tsvetayeva Museum together with Shafer House Museum arranged the reader conference named "Tsvetaevskie chtenija" on the day of Slavic writing and culture which is celebrated on May 24. Just like they always do. The conference was dedicated to the 125th Anniversary of Marina Tsvetaeva and 140th Anniversary of the poet Maximilian Voloshin (a friend of Tsvetaeva sisters). An achievement of a retirement age of Anatomy teacher Nazarenko Ljudmila Nikolaevna was celebrated in a sophisticated manner. Lots of kind and sincere words were spoken about her. Congratulations from students and teaching staff were accompanied by musical performances. She was particularly noted for her merits, achievements and contribution to the development of the college.
